Warranty
Thank you for choosing Key City. We have built our reputation on providing top-quality furniture and servicing our customers with fairness and integrity.
The warranty applies to new Key City upholstered furniture and is extended only to the consumer who makes the original purchase. Key City warrants the individual furniture components to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the length of time specified. This warranty applies under condition of normal household usage and does not apply to defetcts resulting from misuse, accidents, or commercial usage. Under the terms of this limited warranty, Key City retains the option to repair or replace the defective item.
Any claim of service must be made through an authroized Key City dealer where the furniture was purchased. Repair or replacement, as determined by Key City, will be made as soon as practical.
Frame & Springs - Five Years
The kiln-dried hardwood frame and 10-way hand tied springs are warranted against breakage due to defective material or workmanship for a period of five years from date of purchase. This does not include legs. Legs are warranted for thirty day from date of invoice.
Seat Cushions & Backs - One Year
Key City upholstered furniture use high resiliency polyurethane cushioning materials in conunction with layers of polyester fiber for supperior seating comfort. Cushions are warranted from the date of purchase against loss of resiliency. The loss of resiliency should not be confused with slight softening and flattening of the polyester fiber and foam, that will occur as a result of normal use and aging.
Mechanism - Two Years
Sleeper Mattress - Five Years
Swivel rocker and sleeper mechanisms (all metal parts) are warranted to be free of defects for two years from date of purchase. The warranty on sleeper mechanisms does not include bent tubing, stretched helicals, or torn decking. Innerspring sleeper mattresses are warranted to be free of defects for five years as prorated by the mattress manufaturer.
Fabric - One Year
Upholstery fabrics are warranted against defective material or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase under normal care and use. This warranty does not cover fading, pilling, or shrinkage and is not valid where there is evidence of heavy soiling or abuse. Fabric damage or failure due to chemical treatment, improper cleaning, animal abuse is also excluded from this warranty. If in doubt about cleaning, consult an authorized Key City dealer for proper cleaning instructions.
